Here is the list of needed supplies for your upcoming birth. Please have all items ready and in a convenient location by your 36 week visit.
If you are having a birth center birth, please have a list of the things you use daily but will need for the birth (example: toothbrush, phone chargers) so you don’t forget to bring any of the important items.
The Birth Center of St. Pete birth kits can be purchased online through In His Hands here. There is an option through the link to purchase an Oasis birth pool if you are having a home birth and need a tub for labor and birth.
For both home and birth center births, you will need:
Wallet with ID’s
Phones and Chargers
Cameras
Overnight bag packed with 3 days of clothing and toiletries (in the event of hospital transfer)
Food for you and birth team
Electrolyte drink or juice
Labor comfort measures
Essential Oils, lotions, CD’s, preferred play lists…
Car Seat
Supplies for a home birth:
2 sets of clean sheets
8-10 clean towels (bath & beach sized)
2 plastic sheets to cover the bed (shower curtain or plastic mattress covers)
Heating pad
Thermometer
Wash cloths
Baby (receiving) blankets
Overnight menstrual pads
Depends disposable underpants (optional)
Roll of paper towels
Toilet paper
Olive Oil

Hand Soap
